Destininja treats progression as a kind of memoir. You do not simply level up inside Destininja — you accumulate trophies, titles, ranks, techniques, and conditions, and those artifacts become the story of your shinobi's career. The Trophées panel at the top of the screen is a quiet brag board; the Historique panel underneath is the long-form archive of every Destininja run you have ever completed.

The progression loop in Destininja is built on three reinforcing systems: year grades, lifetime rank, and the ryo economy. Each Destininja year closes with a letter grade from D to S, calculated from your balance of training, missions, exams, and combat. Grades stack into a lifetime rank track that climbs from academy student through Genin, Chunin, Jonin, and finally Kage. The ryos you earn from missions fund the Boutique, where Destininja lets you buy gear that alters both your visual silhouette and your future dialogue options.

Titles are where Destininja feels most personal. A Destininja player who completes a year without taking a single hit might earn the title "Shadow of the Dojo." One who finishes a year with full ryos but no rank progression might be dubbed "Quiet Prosperity." These titles persist across your Destininja profile and surface in the Trophées panel as small colored chips that capture the shape of a single year's decisions. Conditions work the same way: a "Wounded," "Hunted," or "Beloved" condition from one Destininja year quietly influences the next.

The Historique preserves every completed Destininja run as a compact narrative card — your name, your final rank, your signature stats, and the defining moments of the playthrough. Returning to a finished Destininja run feels like opening an old journal, which is exactly the texture the game is designed to produce. Destininja is a browser game about patience, balance, and the trophies that fall out of a life lived deliberately.
