Golden Ratio Face is a landmark-based facial analysis tool that compares three documented facial proportions against φ (1.618) and returns an overall harmony score with annotated measurement lines. Hosted at https://pslscale.com/golden-ratio-face as part of the PSL Scale suite, the tool accepts a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo up to 10 MB and produces a downloadable PNG report plus a short AI commentary.

The three measurements are face height (upper third vs lower third), eye-to-mouth (outer eye span vs mouth width), and philtrum-to-nose (total nose length vs philtrum). Each is rated by closeness to phi and the three ratings average into the overall harmony score. The result page places the original photo next to the annotated version with coloured lines (gold, cyan, pink, purple and green) for each measurement.

Privacy is a first-class concern. MediaPipe runs in the browser, so the photo is processed locally and the original image is not stored on the server. Only normalised landmark coordinates and image-quality numbers are sent to a selected OpenRouter model that produces the written interpretation. A free preview shows the user what the report will contain before any credit is charged; a completed report costs 10 credits on the PSL Scale credit system. Golden Ratio Face also offers hairstyle and accessory suggestions matched to the dominant ratio pattern, and tips for retaking the photo at eye level with a neutral expression for more stable ratios. The tool is explicit that the score measures mathematical proximity in the photograph, not attractiveness.
